Adna Senhora Teixeira

Adna Senhora Teixeira, a leader in the occupation Sítio Baianinho, located in Cujubim, State of Rondonia, was abducted by a group of 3 men on July 6 of 2016 and found dead the next day. He had been stabbed 21 times.

Adna was with her partner, known as L.R., when they were surrounded and attacked by 3 men armed with knives. L.R. was badly hurt during the assault but managed to survive. The attackers fled the place by motorcycle leaving L.R. fallen on the ground and taking Adna with them. She was found dead the next day by a farmer on his way to work.

Ronildo Bento, a 36 year old men, was arrested on the 12th of August of 2016 under suspicion of involvement in the crime.

It is believed that the murder was motivated by land conflicts because Adna was a leader in the occupation and had been involved in confrontations with rich farmers in the area.
