Another defender of human rights and of Mother Earth Iklled in guatemala. On July 12, 2019 at around 8:00 p.m., Julio Ramirez was hit by bullets in Río Dulce Izabal. He died at 5:00 pm the same day as a result of his injuries.
CODECA has condemned the persecution and assassination of human rights defenders in Guatemala, and calls urgently for the founding of the Plurinational State, to guarantee life, harmony, and the common good for Guatemala.
