Julia Zúñiga Padilla

Julia was murdered by two men in a hairdressers named Queen, where she worked. She was shot several times.

Nicknamed July, Julia studied in the Fray Matías de Córdova school, located in Azcapotzalco. Julia was described as follows: “Julio César Zúñiga Padilla, athlete, hard worker and a very responsible person who always helped others without expecting anything in return even if she didn’t know you, giving you food if you were hungry, always helping her community. She supported her mother financially”.

Julia was a member of Didesex and was one of the winners of the gold medal in the football tournament in the United States.

Julia was a charismatic social leader and above all was an example for her neighbours. She was a member of the PRI. She always helped anyone who needed help. Her friends described her as follows: “She would do anything for her friends, she worked for her community, she was an example in work, a footballer who put Tlalnepantla on the map, a diva who laughed loudly, she radiated happiness and she always had a spark that created joy wherever she went.”
