According to a report published on Friday by the Colombian Defensoría de Pueblo ( National Human Rights Ombudsman),  a total of 120 civil leaders have been killed in Colombia in the past 14 months fuelling concerns for the delicate peace process.

The Ombudsman’s office also reported  33 attempted killings and 27 attacks.
