Tatiana Paola Posso Espitia, 35 years, was a mother of three and she was running for El Copey city counselor elections for the Colombia Justa y Libre Party.
She was murdered last Wednesday, the 3th of July 2019, at 6:30 am, when she was leaving for work with taxi driver Wilson Antonio Ortega Palomino. Two men arrived at her house by motor cycle and shot her in the head.
Her friend, Wilson Antonio Ortega Palomino, tried to protect her and received 4 bullets. Ortega Palomino is currently in hospital in critical state, while Tatiana Paola Posso Espitia was declared dead on arrival at the hospital.
It is worth noting that, less than a year ago, her partner, Alfredo Manuel Fontalvo Guzmán, was also murdered in very similar circumstances.
