Saturday, August 18, tow hired gunment shot Luis Alberto Rivas Gómez, 23,dead in the county of Bocas del Toro, jurisdiction of Turbo, municipality of Urabá antioqueño.
Rivas was part of the Afro-Colombian National Authority, Anafro, and the Black Communities Process in Colombia, PCN, promoters of the defense of the ancestral territory of black communities and the sustainable use of natural resources, in addition to the claim of the rights of Afro-descendant people for the construction of a more just world.
The District Administration and the House of Culture Hernando Delgado Orrego, of Turbo, lamented the death of artist Rivas Gómez and condemned the attack on the promoters of art in the municipality.
