According to the police of the Second District, the homicide happened around 6:35 a.m. when the victim was going to his house located in the Portales neighborhood, after completing his shift in the Nestle.

According to the police, hitmen on a motorcycle shot him, after he finished his shift at the factory early Wednesday morning. The victim, 28 years old, was shot in the head and chest.

According to the his family, he never expressed fear for his life or spoke of any quarrel with anyone.

The authorities are carrying out investigations to establish motive for a killing that has shocked the population in the centre of this Valley.

The Ombudsman’s Office reported that last year the attack on leaders, activists and some trade unionists claimed the lives of 14 people.
